My sister, Pat and I have discovered that we like traveling together. Over the past few years we have been on two cruises, two NC mountain trips, beach trips and three trips to Missouri to spend time with my daughter and son-in-law.
I am about to embark on another wonderful new adventure with my sister. We are westward ho! Ever since I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, she has wanted to take me out west. Missouri is the furthermost west I have ever been until now. We will fly from Charlotte NC to Las Vegas NV on Sunday, July 4th for a 10 day experience. We will be staying at the home of friends of my sister. We are planning lots of day trips to places like, Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley, Valley of Fire, as well as downtown Vegas. I am as excited as a kid at Christmas. I love the excitement in my sister's voice when we talk about the trip. She is excited about showing me some of the great wonders of the West. It is going to be fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
